First-article production lead times: CNC 3–7 days, 3D printing 2–5 days, sheet metal 5–10 days, injection molding prototypes 14–21 days. Rush service available at 1.5–2× standard cost for same-day quote + next-day production start on simple parts.

For 80% of parts, 3D CAD (STEP file preferred) is enough — we extract dimensions directly from the model. For parts with critical tolerances, surface finish callouts, GD&T requirements, or special materials: provide a 2D drawing (PDF) with the 3D model. Our engineers can generate a drawing from CAD if needed, but direct drawings eliminate ambiguity.

Preferred: STEP (.step, .stp) — universal format. Also accepted: IGES (.igs), Parasolid (.x_t, .x_b), SolidWorks (.sldprt), Pro/Engineer / Creo (.prt), Autodesk Inventor (.ipt), Fusion 360 (.f3d), Catia (.CATPart). For 2D drawings: PDF is standard, DWG and DXF also accepted.

Yes — quote-for-quantities is standard. Typical quote includes 3 breakpoints (e.g., 10 / 100 / 1,000 parts) to show volume discounts. This helps you select the right quantity when cost is tight. Let us know your target quantity range in your RFQ and we'll price accordingly.

Three options: (1) Quote form on /quote.html — drag-and-drop file upload, most common method. (2) Email directly to [email protected] with files attached. (3) Large files (>100 MB) or sensitive files — request a secure upload link (SFTP or OneDrive) and we'll send a private transfer link. NDAs signed before receipt on sensitive files.
