FAQ

Heavy-duty precision for the factory floor — questions

What size parts can you make for automation equipment?

Large-envelope CNC machining up to 1200 × 800 × 600 mm in a single setup. Larger weldments possible by joining multiple machined sections. Sheet metal enclosures up to 1500 × 800 × 2000 mm with TIG/MIG welding and powder coating. For exceptional size, we partner with heavy-fab shops while managing quality and logistics.

Can you handle rush orders for production line repairs?

Yes — we've shipped broken production line components in 48–72 hours when a factory line is down. Requires CAD file or sample part for dimensioning, and sufficient material in stock. We maintain expedited workflows for production-critical repair parts with DHL Priority international shipping.

Do you make electrical control cabinets?

Yes — complete sheet metal cabinet fabrication including door and body, mounting plates, gland plates, PEM insert hardware, cable management integrations, EMI gasketing, grounding studs, and IP ratings up to IP66. Painted or powder coated finish. We work to EN 62208 and IEC 61439 requirements for industrial control enclosures.

What about jigs, fixtures, and production tooling?

Core competency. Custom assembly fixtures, welding jigs, go/no-go inspection gauges, CMM fixtures, clamping and locating systems. Precision tooling plate (MIC-6 aluminum) machined to ±0.05 mm, kinematic mounting systems, quick-change interfaces. Typical delivery 7–14 days depending on complexity.

Can you design parts for us or only machine them?

Both. Engineers on our team handle complete mechanical design from concept through production drawings for customers who need design services. Typical projects: weldments, fixtures, enclosures, product housings. Design rates quoted separately from manufacturing. We also do design-for-manufacturing reviews on customer-provided CAD at no charge.

What tolerances are typical for automation parts?

Machine frames and weldments: ±0.5 mm on overall dimensions, ±0.1 mm on mating mounting surfaces. Precision positioning fixtures: ±0.05 mm. Sensor and actuator mounts: ±0.02 mm on critical features. PLC cabinet features: ±0.5 mm. Match tolerance to function — frame straightness matters, frame overall length doesn't.
